There is no specific language used in Delhi. It has adopted language and culture from rest of the cities of India. Here are the few, used mostly in Delhi:

Hindi : Hindi is the official language of Delhi. As hindu are more in number in city, Hindi is used for conversation.

English : English is widely used for office communication. Due to foreign set ups in Delhi, many tourist come to Delhi. Taxi drivers, guides and shopkeeper can also speak good English.

Punjabi : There are large number of Punjabi and Sikhs resides in Delhi. So Punjabi is also used very often.

Urdu : Urdu is commonly used in Old Delhi as large number of Muslims lives there.
