Mahatma Gandhi park is located on the main Church road, near by the Old Delhi railways station. The park opens on Sundays only and there is no charge or entry fee to visit it. Mahatma Gandhi Park is very small, simple but beautiful park. Public of Delhi refer the park as ‘Company bagh’ as this park is an integral part of European social life in the early 19th century. The park had a cricket ground also which is a favorite game of the British people. 

After Independence, the name of the park has changed with Mahatma Gandhi Park. Today, this park gives fresh air and eye pleasing greenery to the people residing in Congested Chandni Chowk area.  The park also used to celebrate some community functions, cultural and social activities. There is bronze colored statute of Mahatma Gandhi is also placed in the park, which is covered by the trees, enhancing the beauty of the park.
